2013 Outdoor Grand Prix – Top Scorers as of 4/23

The men’s top scorers for the 2013 Outdoor Open Track and Field Grand Prix are Andrew Pitts (New Balance Boston) and Paul Rupprecht (New Balance Boston), with tied points of 904.
The women’s top scorer for the 2013 Outdoor Open Track and Field Grand Prix is Sydney Fitzpatrick (New Balance Boston), with points of 943.

2013 USATF-NE Outdoor Open Championship – $1000 Prize Monies

Up to $1000 in total prize monies are available to New England members competing in the 2013 USATF-New England Outdoor Open Championship.

Details:
Up to $100 for each of the top 5 Open Male New England members and top 5 Open Female New England members (performance minimum of 850 IAAF points) for travel reimbursement to the USATF Club Nationals Meet.

2013 Outdoor Grand Prix Series – up to $1200 in prizes

The USATF-NE Track and Field committee is announcing the first annual USATF-NE Outdoor Grand Prix Series. There is up to $1200 in prize monies available to the top USATF-NE member performers.

 

Please read the 2013 USATF-NE Outdoor Grand Prix Rules for details and to Sign Up.

USATF-NE members must signup and submit their performances by June 22, 2013 12p ET.

2013 Sport Innovation Grants

For 2013, there is up to $6000 in Sport Innovation Grant Funds available to individuals and clubs who seek to further develop Track and Field in New England through projects servicing the association.

NE Championships – Ready, Go!

The USATF New England Indoor Championships are tomorrow and all are ready.

The 2013 Championships is offering up to $6200 in prize money for those eligible. For details, visit Indoor Championship Prize Money.

In addition, the Championships is the capstone meet to the 2013 Indoor Grand Prix. Up to $1200 in prize money is available. For details, visit the Grand Prix Scores.

The Championships meet will cap off the day with a social for association athletes hosted by USATF-NE at John Harvard’s in Harvard Square. Awards will be announced at 5:30p. For more details, visit the Post Meet Social.

Due to the number of entries, the USATF-NE Indoor Championship schedule has been updated for the track events.

 

Updated Track Schedule:

Women – Men, Fast sections first

10:30 am 5000 meter Women
10:50 am 5000 meter Men
11:15 am 3000 meter race walk, men / women combined
11:30 am 60m Hurdles (timed final- W /ScholasticB / Men)
11:50 pm Mile
1:00 pm 60m (timed final – W / M / Masters)
1:40 pm 400 (blocks – heat 1 only)
2:15 pm 800 (W / M / Masters Men)
2:45 pm 200 (blocks – heat 1 only)
3:15 pm 3000 and 4x440y and DMR relays to follow

The 2013 Indoor Grand Prix Sign Up Deadline with performances submitted is today (2/16) at 12p.

 

David Chorney (BAA) is leading the men’s Indoor Grand Prix with a total of 2866 points.

Caitlin Malloy (New Balance Boston) is leading the women’s Indoor Grand Prix with a total of 2735 points.
